Affirming counseling that honors the spectrum of human experience
People seek therapy for a variety of reasons: to develop skills and resources, to have space to process and unpack, and to receive support with navigating life transitions and challenges. My goal as a therapist is to support you in such goals and whatever else you may be carrying. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process and I trust that you ultimately have the answers. Focus areas of my work include trauma recovery, work with neurodivergent folks, and the LGBTQIA community. I am queer-allied and am experienced with providing gender-affirming counseling and consult. I affirm that there is no 'one size fits all' model of therapy and am trained in EMDR, mind/body work and parts work among others modalities.
Please note that I am focusing my practice on office/ in-person work local to Rochester, NY. I value how telehealth has changed accessibility in therapy and understand that there may be circumstances where clients may need to utilize telehealth. Please feel free to contact me for further clarification or to discuss your specific needs.
